Introduction

What do we study

You will study a broad range of topics related to engineering including: • Engineering principles • Safe engineering processes • Product design and manufacture • Computer aided design • Maintenance and condition monitoring

How will I learn

A mixture of learning strategies will be used in your studies, including problem-solving activities, group work, independent work as well as significant hands-on practical experience which will be part-delivered at our amazing NETA site.

What's next

Engineering opens the door to a wide range of further study and career options, including all of the fields of engineering, science, business and industry. You could choose to continue to university study or you could pursue a higher level apprenticeship. Several of our students studying at Bede have secured higher level apprenticeships with global employers such as PD Ports, Johnson Matthey, Fujifilm.
