Newcastle University awaits Bede Sixth Form student Radu, after his outstanding A Level results.

Having always been mathematical, the former All Saints Academy student is now off to Newcastle this September to study Computer Science.

When asked how he felt about his fantastic results, Radu said: “I’m in shock. I didn’t know what to expect, but I’m ecstatic.”

And it’s not hard to see why; the 18 year-old was awarded two A*s in Further Maths and Maths today, as well as an A in Computer Science.

Radu credits his success to his passion for the subjects he studies, as well as the support from his teachers: “It’s been great studying at Bede Sixth Form. I’ve loved taking responsibility for my own work. It’s been very liberating.”
