After a bad experience with a previous college, Olivia was hoping her luck would change when she joined Bede Sixth Form College.

The decision paid off for the 19-year-old student from Fairfield, who picked up two As and a B in English Literature, Art & Design and Media Studies today.

Olivia said: “After my first experience I was worried history would repeat itself, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The staff and facilities at Bede Sixth Form College are fantastic and I can’t thank them enough for getting me here.”

Now off to study Marketing and Management at Durham University, Olivia is glad she chose to study the subjects she was passionate about.

She added: “I have a big passion for the arts and I’m grateful that I got to explore all three subjects. I can’t wait to take this knowledge and apply it to my new university degree.”
