The numbers are adding up for Nicole after scooping top marks in her Level 3 Sports course at Bede Sixth Form College.

The former Northshore Academy student, 18, enrolled onto the course two years ago in the hope of following her dreams to become a P.E teacher. As we know, a lot has changed in recent times and so has Nicole’s career ambitions, who now hopes to pursue a career in the finance industry.

After securing triple Distinction* grades, Nicole is now heading to Teesside University to study Accounting and Finance.

Speaking about her time at Bede Sixth Form, Nicole says ‘‘It has been a really good experience. I would recommend studying at Bede to anyone. There is so much to do at this College.’’

It hasn’t all just been about the studying during Nicole’s two years at the Sixth Form. After joining the Women’s Football Academy, ran in partnership with Durham Women FC, Nicole was able to train and play competitive sport alongside her studies. ‘‘The Academy was great because it allowed me to have a break from just studying all the time and enjoy playing sport.’’
