Lily is creating her own narrative with amazing A-Level results
With the ambition of working in film or communications like her mum, Lily was over the moon to receive her A-Level results – and quite rightly! With a Distinction* in Music Technology and a B in both Media and Photography, despite being nervous, Lily was pleased with her overall grades.
She said: “I was so nervous coming here today but I’m so happy and relieved. Although I’m not entirely sure what I want to do in the future, the grades I have achieved have allowed me to explore a lot of different options on my chosen university course.
“I chose Bede because it was small and it had that friendly community atmosphere, the 10:00am starts were also an added bonus!”
Lily is now planning to study Visual Communication at Leeds Arts University.
A move to Leeds is on the horizon for Lydia
With a face full of emotion, Lydia beamed as she shared her results with us this morning. Achieving A*, A and B in History, Sociology and Psychology, Lydia told us how she had already cried when she saw her UCAS result pop up earlier in the morning but was “over the moon” when she saw her actual results.
When asked why she chose to attend Bede Sixth Form, Lydia said “I got a good feel for the place. It was also out of town for me, being from Stockton, and I wanted to move away from there a little bit.” Lydia also told us how much she loved the friends she’s made and all of her teachers, stating, “I couldn’t of done any of this without them”.
Lydia now plans to move to Leeds and study a History & Sociology degree. Congratulations Lydia!
