A career in games design is Lewis’ goal

Lewis is looking forward to achieving his goals of a career in games design after collecting his A level results.

Lewis chose Bede because of its location and reputation: ‘‘Living in Stockton, Bede was a local college to me and I had heard lots of good things about it from friends and friends of friends, so I knew it was the right choice for me. I have nothing but good things to say about Bede. When I first saw the facilities for music, it was really impressive.’’

‘‘After collecting my results in computer science, music technology and maths, I am now looking to take a gap year before going to university next summer to study games design’’ said Lewis.

The sky’s the limit for Liam

Bede Sixth Form College student, Liam, is celebrating success today after securing his place to study at Newcastle University.

When asked why he chose to study at Bede, the 18-year-old said: “I came to have a look round Bede at one of the open evenings and really liked the courses on offer and the atmosphere of the college.”

It’s clear to see that Liam’s hard work has paid off as he’s off to study Astro Physics with aspirations to eventually study for his PhD.

University is next for Noah with future aims to complete a PHD

Noah is very happy with his results today and most pleased with his A* in Geography. Noah also achieved a B in both Maths and Physics.  Speaking of his time at Bede, Noah said “my favourite part was Geography, I really enjoyed it!.”

On top of his A Levels, Noah also told us how he took part in a further enrichment program, aspiring engineers at NETA Engineering on Portrack Lane which he really enjoyed.

When asked why he chose Bede for his A Levels, Noah said: “I liked how Bede has a smaller campus and it was easy to get to being local to where I live.”

Noah is now going to be attending the University of East Anglia and will be studying for a degree in Geology with Geography.

In regards to future ambitions, Former Ian Ramsey student, Noah said: “I really want to work within research and hopefully go on to do a PHD.”
