Lauren is off to study science
Research paid off for former Ian Ramsey student Lauren, who was keen to attend a college with a good reputation for Science.
With the hope of studying Archaeology and Anthropology at Central Lancashire University, Lauren wanted to attend a college that would give her the necessary Science related skills.
She said: “Science is my favourite subject and it was important to me that the college I attended had a good Science programme. I am so grateful that I chose Bede and it has definitely given me the confidence to progress to university.”
Leaving Bede with a B in Biology, Chemistry and Criminology, Lauren is excited at the prospect of eventually getting a science related job role.
Dion hits the right notes with his A level results
With the dream of a career in the music industry, Dion hit all the right notes with his A level results.
With a D* in Music Technology, a B in Media Studies and a D in Psychology, Dion is looking forward to starting his Music Production course with York St John University.
He said: “Bede was in a great location for me and I was grateful that they offered the option of studying Media Technology. I am over the moon with my results and looking forward to starting university in York.”
Dion is eventually hoping to gain a job within the music industry and currently plays instruments such as the guitar, drums and keyboard.
A-Level results day was picture perfect for Codie
A-Level results day was picture perfect for Codie who collected an A* in Art and a B in Biology and Psychology.
The former Northfield student, as well as having her own portrait drawing business, is looking forward to starting her Marketing Management course with Teesside University.
Codie said: “I originally came to Bede for the location but I am so glad I did, the tutors were lovely and they always offered so much support. I am really looking forward to starting my new course with Teesside University.”
Elin secures her place to study Midwifery
The future is looking bright for aspiring midwife Elin as she collected an A in Religion, Philosophy & Ethics and Biology and a D* in Health & Social Care.
Now going on to study Midwifery at Manchester University, Elin is excited about starting the next part of her journey to become a Midwife.
She said: “I have always wanted to be a Midwife and I am so excited to get started at Manchester University. I am over the moon with my results, they were exactly what I was hoping for so I was definitely relieved when I opened the envelope. Bede was such a lovely place to learn, all of the tutors are amazing and I have definitely made some friends for life.”
