Bede Sixth Form College proved the right choice for Katie, as she now has the grades to pursue her dream career.

The 18-year-old from Billingham picked up two Bs and a C in Psychology, Sociology and History yesterday.

Katie, a former Northfield School and Sports College student, said: “Trying to learn during a worldwide pandemic was tough, but despite the circumstances I’m over the moon with my final results.”

Joined by her mother, Katie was keen to find her teachers and thank them for their help.

Now off to study Forensic Psychology at Leeds Trinity University, Katie celebrated by calling her father and telling him the good news.

She added: “My mam and dad are so proud of me and that really means a lot. I’m looking forward to studying my new degree but I will miss my time at Bede College.”
