Criminology is about crime and punishment. It is an exciting interdisciplinary subject that combines aspects of law, psychology and sociology to look at how crime is defined, why people commit crimes, and how society responds.

Studying criminology will allow you to understand the culture of crime and the workings of the criminal justice system, including the police, courts, prosecution services, prisons and rehabilitation services.
