The programme is an exciting commitment, and you will have a dedicated block built into your timetable to ensure you can fully engage with the experiences, challenges, and enrichment it offers. Most students will also have the chance to complete an EPQ, further strengthening their academic profile and preparing them for future study and research.

Our Strands
Biological and Healthcare
This pathway introduces ambitious students pursuing Biology related or Healthcare pathways, including medicine, dentistry, veterinary science, biological degrees, or science based degree apprenticeships.
Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industries
This pathway introduces students to the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, showing how innovative products are developed, tested, and manufactured. Students explore laboratory techniques, chemical reactions, quality control, safety procedures, and sustainability in industry, alongside insights into regulatory frameworks and innovation in STEM.
Expert Led Workshops for Science Specific Career Pathways
Students will take part in a variety of workshops designed to challenge their current knowledge and understanding and allowing them to experience what the programme will offer in September.
Careers Intended.
This pathway prepares students for roles such as:
• Laboratory technician
• Pharmaceutical scientist
• Chemical engineer
• Quality control analyst
It also provides a foundation for further study in:
• Biomedical science
• Chemical engineering
• Environmental science
