Bede ISE’s Basketball Academy provides the perfect opportunity for young players to train alongside some of the best players in the area and be coached by elite coaches. The basketball programme has recently been promoted to the CBL (College Basketball League) which is a highly competitive league.

The Academy had a very successful 2024/25 season and were the North East Regional Champions, leading them to the National Championships in Nottingham, finishing 8th in the country. Head Coach Louis Sayers brings a wealth of professional playing experience, winning a BBL Championship with Newcastle Eagles, as well as representing GB at junior level and playing professionally in Germany
